Create Your Own Equine Experience!

Thank you for attending and donating through our offer from the Safe Places Gala!

Brandy and Rebecca have been working together in providing services and workshops for those interested in learning about and experiencing equine psychotherapy! Brandy and Rebecca have collaborated together in many aspects of their career. They have created workshops, built group experiences, and family experiences together. Their heart and passion is being able to connect people with the wisdom of horses and nature to help facilitate growth in each individual’s world.

They offer a myriad of opportunities for people from the community to experience. We are happy to work with you to create a full day experience of anything you would love to experience with horses.

What is being offered for the Equine Experience?

Leadership Experience

We have created a program that has been applied to the leadership of companies and teams. We look at how leading horses can help us see the qualities we hold within ourselves and leaders and how those can be expressed in connection and relationship. We created this program to explore how leaders communicate, build effective teams, become efficient without losing relationships, and develop an internal awareness for leading others well.

We usually work with leadership teams that are between 4 and 10 members. We can always be flexible if you numbers do not fall in that range, just please let us know.

Some of the things that will be covered:

  • leadership roles
  • leading principles
  • values influencing leadership

Team Building Experience

We have created a program that has been applied to teams to help them engage in a more connected and attuned way. This program was designed to help identify natural roles within systems and how each role plays a vital part in the team. Each person holds their experience within the team. Horses shows us through their herd dynamics the ability to connect and work together to accomplish safety and security in their working system.

We usually work with teams that are between 6 and 12 members. We can always be flexible if you numbers do not fall in that range, just please let us know.

Some of the things that will be covered:

  • roles on a team
  • principles of tasks v relationships
  • values in team
  • building awareness and attunement
  • work flow and connection

Family Experience

We have created a program designed to support families in exploring how they connect, communicate, and move together as a unit. Through guided equine and experiential activities, families learn about their patterns of interaction, how they share responsibility, and how each member contributes to the family’s rhythm. Horses naturally respond to group energy and the present moment, helping families see their dynamics in real time.  This experience invites awareness, curiosity, and authentic connection, and is a hands-on opportunity to build understanding and strengthen family bonds.

We usually see families sizes 3-10.

Some of the things that will be covered:

  • attachment dynamics
  • contracts in family
  • hierarchy in family

Parenting Experience

This experience offers parents a chance to slow down, reflect, and discover new ways of engaging with their children. Through experiential exercises and interaction with horses, parents explore the balance between guidance and freedom, awareness and action. The horses’ natural responsiveness invites participants to notice their presence, communication, and parenting style in real time.  The goal is to bring more awareness and authenticity to the parenting journey, fostering growth and connection.

We will work with groups of parents between 4 and 8 .

Some of the things we will potentially cover:

  • attachment dynamics
  • contracts
  • responsibility and freedom
  • parenting principles

Relationships Experience

Designed for individuals, couples, or small groups who want to deepen their understanding of how they relate to others. Through awareness-based and equine-guided activities, participants explore their communication styles, values, and patterns of connection. Horses respond to the energy and intention of the people around them, offering direct feedback on presence and authenticity.
This experience emphasizes awareness, curiosity, and relational presence — helping participants explore new ways of being in relationship without judgment or analysis.

Some things we could will potentially cover:

  • values exploration
  • relationship principles
  • attachment awareness

Kid’s Camp Day

A fun and engaging day designed for kids to learn through creativity, connection, and care. Participants will enjoy art activities and hands-on experiences with horses, including grooming and caretaking. Through these experiences, children naturally learn

awareness, empathy, and responsibility — key elements in building confidence and connection.
This program focuses on being present and learning through doing, helping kids discover their strengths and express themselves authentically in a supportive environment.

Focus areas: art, grooming and care, relational awareness through creative and animal-based activities.

We typically welcome groups of 6–10 children for each camp day.

We can create a day for a group of kiddos ages 5+.

Activities included in the day:

  • art activities
  • grooming and care taking horses
  • being led on the back of a horse
  • relational awareness through creativity
  • animal-based activities

Collaborate and Create Your Own

Tell us what you are thinking and we will collaborate with you to set up the goal and experience you are hoping for! We love being creative and being able to create new programs for varying needs.

What does the day entail?

Our aim is to spend about 85% of the day with the horses working within the framework you desire for your equine experience.

The first part of the day is structured by introductions and desires for the day. The staff will be able to get to know you a little bit more and be able to hear first hand in that moment desires you have for the day. Then we move into meeting the horses and bringing in the first activity for the day that will be specifically tailored to what you are asking for. We will break for lunch, which is provided by us, for an hour and then reconvene for a group activity that will be tailored to your requests. Then head back out to the horses to integrate the first part of the day and the group experience. Then we will spend the last 30 minutes closing for the day and discussing take aways and answering any remaining questions for the day.

You can have as much or as little say in what you want to experience for the day. You can give us specific things you want to do and we can tailor it to exactly what you want, or you can hand over the reins and say I want to do this experience and you can figure out what to do based on the feedback you get (and anywhere in-between).

Is horse experience required?

No, horse experience is not required. We work with many individuals who have little to no horse experience and they have reported having an impactful experience despite the experience they didn’t have. Brandy and Rebecca can help facilitate comfortability and safety with horses so you can allow for an experience that can be fully integrated.

What does set up for this look like?

Reach out to Rebecca at rebecca@renewinghoperanch.org. She will connect with you and set up a phone call so herself, Brandy and you can discuss your desires for your experience. After that is done, Rebecca will send over paperwork to send to the people you are hoping to include in the experience. The paperwork will include and equine waiver required to work with horses in Colorado and a document for all of the participants to fill out that includes general information as well as information the help us facilitate the day effectively.
