Care for the herd
These horses have a forever home here. A gift of $250 a month sponsors one horse’s care (choose a horse to sponsor), and one-time gifts of any size cover the everyday.
$75
A day’s hay
Feeds all nine horses for a day.
$135
A chiropractic session
Many of our horses carry old injuries. Chiropractic work eases their pain and helps them move in a more aligned, comfortable way.
$210
Six months of hoof trims
Three farrier visits for one horse, one every eight weeks. Standard care that keeps a horse sound and healthy.
$2,160
A month of winter hay
In a normal year, hay runs about $1,675 a month in winter (October to May) and $1,100 a month in summer (June to September). Winter is three bales a day, more on cold days. Summer is two, so the horses balance grass and hay.
This year, drought and a hay shortage mean smaller bales from new suppliers, so the herd needs four, sometimes five bales a day. That puts this winter’s hay closer to $2,160 a month.
Feed the horses for a month

Projects and equipment
Projects: We keep upgrading the ranch for the horses and the people we serve, so it stays safe and welcoming for every heartbeat that comes through the gate.
Horse health equipment: Many of our horses arrive with injuries. A laser, BEMER, and red light therapy help them heal and stay comfortable.
Fund a program day
Our programs for nurses, teachers, counselors, first responders, and veterans are free. We never want cost to be the reason someone stays home.
$50
A spot in the program
Covers the food, drinks, space, and hospitality that make a full day feel like real self-care.
$150
A half-day program
Brings helping professionals, first responders, or veterans out for a half day, so the people who serve get served.
$350
A full day of healing
Funds a 9-to-5 program: horses, space, clinicians, food, and drinks for people who have given so much.
$750 / month
A month of programs
Each month we aim to run one full-day and two half-day programs. That takes beverages, snacks, lunch on full days, space, clinicians, ice, paper, and supplies for the heat and sun.
Can’t give right now? Tell a friend or colleague. Some months we can’t run a group because too few people know we’re here, so spreading the word helps as much as a gift.
Support a student
Our workshops help professionals develop and deepen their equine therapy skills. We also hold a high standard of care for horses and advocate for them across the equine therapy field.
Help a student or professional attend
Cover part of the workshop cost for a student who needs financial help.
Student support: $50, $100, or $150
