Horse sponsorship is one path, and there are many other ways to support our horses: hay, farrier visits, fly spray, and the equipment that keeps this herd comfortable. Our generous donors are the reason the ranch stays open day to day and horses now have a forever home.

Hay this year, all nine horses
Hay usually runs about $1,675 a month in winter (October through May) and $1,100 a month in summer (June through September). Winter is three bales a day, more on cold days. Summer is two bales so they can balance grass and hay.
This year (2026), with the drought and hay shortage, we face more costs and challenges with hay. We have smaller bales from new suppliers mean which four, sometimes five, bales a day. That puts hay closer to $2,160 a month for winter.

Projects: There are upgrades we are continually working on for both the horses and the people we serve. Help us keep our facility up to date and nice for all heartbeats that come to be a part.
Horse Health Equipment. Our horses come to us with various levels of injuries. This equipment can help with physical healing and comfort levels. Laser, BEMER, and red light for equine medical care.
As a 501c3 nonprofit, we run programs for nurses, teachers, counselors, first responders, and veterans. We do not have a charge for the programs we run because we never want cost to be a factor as to why people do not show up.

We usually try to run 1 full day program and 2 half day programs a month. We sometimes don’t have enough participants to run a group. So your support by spreading the word and getting our name and what we do out there is so appreciated and welcomed.
Programs Supplies: Beverages, snacks, lunch on a full day, space, clinicians, ice, papers, and supplies for the heat and sun.

As 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We run workshops for professionals in the field who are interested in both developing, deepening, and strengthening their equine therapy skills. We not only train professionals, but we hold a high standard of care for horses in the equine therapy field and we strive to be an advocate for the horses in this field.
